Default 455 motor mount question

I bought a set of anchor motor mounts for my 455 in a 70 GTO. The right side fits perfect but the left side does not. There is a 1/8 inch gap at the back of the mount between the frame motor mount and the inside edge of the anchor mount where the bolt goes thru. Can I put a harden washer to fill the gap? Any advice?

Had the opposite problem you have on one of my '70 455 cars. Had to take a 5lb hammer and spread it a tad. The washer will work if you can't see it.......
Motor mounts are pretty forgiving and repros are not precision units either.
