Oct.'78 PHR Judge
I remember this issue of Popular Hot Rodding when it came out and found it again at a swap meet last weekend. I'm sure many of you guys remember it as well.The Judge was on the cover as well as a feature. Then owner was in Tenn. Just curious if it is a "known" car now? Has it survived? CR '69, parchment int., Centerlines, blown 455. The article says it was an SD motor however it goes on to say it is a '71 455. Anyway, I just thought it was such a cool car, big smokey burnout on the cover!

I remember this car. I believe it was in another magazine a year or two later.

Yes, it was in a few magazines back then. I have some pics of it at the 1978 or 1979 Street Machine Nationals somewhere. I thought he was from Illinois, but I could be mistaken.

I remember it came up for sale some years ago. I think it was ebay. Definitely changed hands
