Can you tell us about the engine, HP ?
I always like to hear about high effort pump gas engines. Almost went with a aluminum block myself.
Are you going to get back on the track this year ?

You have the mph for 11's.. sounds like you just need to get your short times down... what is the full combo? Car and engine...?

My wife and I set a few goals each year for our bracket program. Safety - No accidents. 66% round win percentage. No breakage - Complete 100% of all races. Top 3 season finisher in our local track points. Summit ET Finals participant. Attend some big $$ bracket race events and finish semi-finals or better. Burn lots of fuel! No ET goals. Just consistent. Maybe get to Norwalk this year.

My goal is the same as last year....9.999! I really thought I would make it last year but hot, humid air and a small tuning error at Drag Week left me with a best of 10.18. I have my hopes up for 2019 with some East coast air!. VMP, Cecil County, Atco, and MIR.

69 Firebird, 3600 #, E headed 455 street ported, torker with 1" spacer, 850 holley done by nickerson, xe 284 cam, 1.65 hs rockers, 10.8:1 comp, dougs headers, tko-600, 9" with 3.90:1, and flow master exhaust. Stock front suspension with drag shocks and all Cal trac out back. I could probably drop the exhaust and get it but want it through mufflers and air cleaner. I need more tire. The car dynoed at 426 rwhp so its there but if I leave the hole anything above 1500 rpm it spins horribly.

My goals are the same as every year.
Attend 8 Division races and 1 national.
Win 25 rounds in a 5 race claim at the divisionals. And this year is make it to the Sunday show at the National in our back yard.....Finish in top 3 in Nhra division 5 and be in a position to win a championship in October in STL.

Engine and ET goals....
Dyno 2 Pontiac engines and get My dad in the 8.70's and for myself run 7.60's wide open with Pontiac power.

When it's built and Dyno'd, I'll post a thread up about it.

That tko-600 makes it harder to launch. Put a t-400 in it with a 3000-3400 converter an that car will run deep into the elevens, easy. But if you prefer the stick shift, I can respect that. I’m planning on putting my car back on the street one day, and it will be a stick car agin too, like it came from the factory. Stick shifts are fun to drive on the street when you have some power.

Well, since most of the really fast guys have already weighed in... I can talk about my lowly goals.

I hope to finally get the '66 GTO together for FAST/Stock Appearing racing. Hoping for 11s through log manifolds on G70 Wide Ovals.

Hoping to get the heavy Lemans convertible down into the 12.40s or better with some tuning this year. Stock Appearing through log manifolds on G70-14.

One more goal is to get the entire family to race at least one event this year. Me in the '66, my son in the '69 Lemans, my daughter banging gears in the Trans Am and my wife driving my son's '04 GTO.
