Thanks guys & enjoy the discounts that the first few sets of the new 1st gens get.

I got stalled a little this last week because of a small issue on gearbanger's & Ducks goats sets. It took a little while to set up a test fit on a 66' GTO to remedy it. There's should be out this week for sure. Its all part of making sure there's a good quality control. I haven't had access to a 64-67 A-body for 5+ years & its a good thing I was able to now because I try to test fit every header before its boxed up to ship as part of the quality control.

I'll also have two more sets ready to email guys about this week.

So how long does it take to get a set if I order one now? I will need headers soon and I've been looking at these as I have a lowered car and my country is filled to the brim with speed bumps..

I talked to Ron about the issue with the driver side header not having clearance for the th 400 and I am excited that these headers will now work with any transmission combo I want to go with. So many headers will work with only one trans combo but Ron has stuck with the development for so long that his will work with 4 speed, 5 speed, th350, th400, whatever. I won't have to buy new headers if I ever go auto like I would with my old mad dogs or with a set of dougs or something. Pretty cool.

Would a set of these headers work on a Second Gen TA 1977 model with 4 speed trans with round port heads. I am looking at a 700 + HP build for the engine and wondering if the headers would support or be a restriction. I am lowering the car so the Hooker Super comps appear to be too low hanging.... Thanks !
Oh and can you change the oil filter or do I need to plan on a remote filter set up ?

For 600 HP, i'd figure a remote o/f as an sop.

I would think for max effort, 1-3/4 headers would be a restriciton at 700 hp. But, if it is to be street driven, I would say the 1-3/4 would work well for the normal operating range the engine will be used in.

I have these headers on a 79 t/a oil filter is easy to get on and off. they are tight on the z bar and had to bend the return spring bracket

Thanks !!
I am trying to get the details and order a set from Ron ASAP !

A remote oil system is not a bad Idea I agree, but Ive got away with the stock location before too. If I road raced it I think a cooler and external filter would be the only way to go probably, this is more a cruiser.

I got a PM from Ron and it sounds like he has moved and is still setting up shop. He did not have internet at the house and was using the library to check in every few days or so.... Is there a lot of people with orders waiting to be filled?

Gearbanger your probably right the 1 3/4" would really probably be fine.
I just though the 2" would remove any doubt of not having enough exhaust flow for future upgrades mainly since they I guess are available in that size now I guess.
