I used a TCI controller. Worked great once I worked a few bugs on my end. Their tech help is very good too

If you like getting in depth with the laptop and changing things like how long you want to hold shifts to the next gear when you let off the throttle (like for turning corners) so it's not gear hunting and other things like 4th gear delay at certain throttle percentages so you aren't in an out of 4th gear, adjusting how much engine braking you want, and all the other small details to really make the trans act exactly like you want it to,,,, Then you'll like the US Shift Quick 4 tuner.

It does all the simple stuff with a hand held tuner if you don't want to get too involved, but allows very precise changes of everything if you want to plug a laptop in.

I run a USShift quick 4 with my 4l80 setup and it is sweet! Super easy to setup and tune. Actually I will be selling mine soon because I am ordering a Holley Terminator Stealth EFI setup that comes with transmission control.
