my 1968 GTO now runs in the low 9s and i'd like to STEP UP. the car is now powered by a JBP 477ci pontiac engine with 300hp NOS fogger running through a built TH400 with brake and ford 9" with 390 gears. the car is lightened (3315 wet with driver)and is "mini-tubbed" for M/T ET Drags. i'd like to move away from the SPRAY-and-PRAY program and have heard lots about SBC twin turbo cars. i saw Marty P. run his twin turbo GTO at Route 66 last Labor Day and was extremely impressed. i'd love to hear everyone's thoughts and suggestions. THANKS! (p.s. i'm new to this board, so please bear with me as i get my feet wet)

Check with Marty, he is the man with Pontiac Turbos. And DO go with an EFI. A friend just got his 67 camaro out with a twin turbo small block and 10 in slicks, First pass the converter would not stall and he left the line with no boost and still ran a 5.48 in the 8th. And this is his street car!
