nuther view - same car but pre minilites. looks like a far bit of early T/A action on that side of the pond. those other wheels really make this car come alive i'd say. the difference is like night & day IMO.....

My parents had yellow Washington plates on the '81 T/A they bought new.

At a local show with my Dad and a buddies 72 Nova. There were a lot of cars there earlier.

Default 1970 Trans Am RA III - 4 speed

This is our 1970 1/2 Ram Air III, Trans Am - Original #'s matching engine with Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, Muncie M21 4-speed, 12-bolt differential, JW coded wheels, etc. Recently had unmolested engine/trans professionally rebuilt (.30 over on block) and repainted with single stage Polar White after repairing all metal concerns professionally. She is as close to original as we could keep her.

NOTE: BFG radials were recently replaced with Goodyear F60-15's.

Congrats on the 70's Award. Awesome car. The Polyglas GT's really are the finishing touch when it comes to looking authentic. Love the look. Their pricy for me and my budget, I don't even chirp mine. I do my running around on BFG radials. Nice car, inside is awesome too.
