Default 1969 GP console question
I would like to repaint the black insert in my 69 GP console. I'm not sure how to remove it, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

figured that out, now im not sure how to dissamble the shifter knob to get the plate off

Pop the push button out of the shifter knob...look in the hole and there is a snap ring...remove ring and then knob....I think...it has been many years
