68 Vent Window Weatherstripping
Anyone have a vendor recommendation for the Vent Window weatherstripping?
I installed a pair of Metro rubbers a few years ago and they just don't fit right.

I don't recall the brand, but I got mine from Ames. They're pulling away from the channel a little bit towards the bottom, but they seem to be fitting tighter than yours so maybe they aren't Metro. I seem to remember transferring some really brittle pronged clips from the originals that hold the weatherstrip into the channel and keep it tight.

Thanks Ken
I called Ames yesterday and they said they used Metro for the vent seal. Did yours have the steel insert? I also dug out some old OEMs and they measure the same as the Metros. Time to remove and see if I can tighten things up a bit.

Pretty sure they did have the steel insert. I guess these are about 8 or 9 year old now since I replaced them when I had the car painted.
