I have a Endura Bumper that just wont line up to the fender. There is a big gap between the fender and the bumper. I sloted the front end and still no difference. Why wont these two pieces join in heavenly matromony?
Is it a problem that I have a 68 GTO with a 69 bumper? |

It could be that your bumper has been hit directly on the nose. I have seen it before. This will cause the two ends of the bumper that mate up to the fenders to bend forward. The solution is to place the back of the bumper at the nose against something rigid(like a post or a small tree) and pull the two ends back slightly. This will enable the ends to meet the fenders. Caution: bend only slightly and recheck the fit, bend some more if needed.

I've seen this before also. One guy "solved" the problem with the rubber fender extensions for the chrome nose. It looked like crap.
If your core support is wrinkled or wavy it probably took a shot to the nose. |

i haven't had mine put on yet, but i've been warned already that these are known for problems getting them to fit properly. since my cars driver fender is not original i'm expecting the same problems.
