Gen 2 Intermediate steering shaft P/N FA478HEA
We had purchased two new reproduction steering shafts, one from ebay and then a second from Jeg's. Both proved to be of poor quality, specifically excessive play in the joint and both made clunking noises once installed. The Ames Performance rebuilt OEM shaft we received was nice and tight, no play at all and no noises. VERY PLEASED with the Ames shaft and well worth the marginally higher price. THANK YOU Ames!

I second the poor quality of the OER part Jegs. Mine was junk and to add insult the bolt for the rag joint completely shattered. I ended up replacing the bolt and using the front half of the shaft, spliced it with the stock U joint and called it a day.
