I agree Peje, if I can get parts for the US retail x 2 here I am really happy, and I am still laughing out loud when I hear americans complain about the gas prices
( Now we pay around 10 USD a gallon ) |

Well, can`t beat you there! 98 V-Power in Sweden right now 8.14 dollars/gallon.
95 octane soon gone here and replaced by more alcohol(not so fun for our carbs). |

By the way, I took a look at the engine on my way home and did notice that one of the heads did not have the number (66) cast but stamped ??
Is this normal and if so why ? |

Look at the top of the radiator support on the passenger side. Original (or close to) owner scratched in mileage and date. I can't remember exactly what it was (I have a pic somewhere) but it was high! Car has 100,000 plus on it.....................

Look at the brakes, all original I think, absolutly no grades at all.
The engine is very clean right ? Look at the drive sprocket no marks what so ever after the chain... Would a car that has gone 133,000 look like this ? |

This is what you have based the milage on
Count the numbers, you will find that there is one more on the speedometer |

Would this car really have gone 100,000 in the first eight years ?
As a rental in a pretty small rental bussines ? That is an average of 12,500 miles a year |

Now the speedo is at 33683,9

Or could it be that when someone put the miles on the radiator support they did really mean 09995,2 ????

Yes, but what picture ?
If this Lemans has gone 133000 it is the cleanest engine I have ever seen and the must have used a wood stick or something like that for braking... Is there anything else that can document the milage that you know ?? As I see it so could 99952 be 09995,2 or 99952,X , and I have found absolutly nothing on this car that says it has high milage, it even had the original exhaust system when I bought it.. Anyone else that can comment on this ? Last edited by Loffen; 11-06-2011 at 04:07 PM. |

Steering wheel, arm rest, brake & gas pedal should give you some idea but that engine looks REAL clean. Hard to argue about the core support however.
