Default Any interest in VW parts

Apparently a local shop owner is closing his doors and wants to get rid of a storeroom full of VW parts as quickly as possable. He's friends with my uncle, who contacted me asking the best/easiest way to clear out the storeroom (I doubt he's willing to give the parts away). The owner is apparently not a computer savy guy so he doesn't know where to go online or how to upload pictures.
I'm going to see the place Saturday. Most likely I'll just take some pictures for him and post a listing on Craigslist for him.
If anyone's interested in checking this stuff out, send me a PM. I should be able to get you some details (and pictures after Saturday).

Steve

DMFan / Steve: check out and register on "the Samba" and post the APB there...it's the main VW forum, much this is the main Pontiac forum.

Got to go over to the shop today to talk to the guy and take pictures. He's retiring and wants to be out of his shop in 6-12 months so whatever isn't sold by then is being scrapped.
He said most of his stuff is Type 1 (air cooled) parts. He said there is some Type 2 parts but they are very limited.
I took pictures of a lot of what he has but there are some other things he wanted to clean up before I took pictures (apparently he has a number of new hub caps he's not done sorting).

He was looking to get $20-25 each for the fenders. All of the other parts he expects to be accepting most reasonable offers.

Lots of pictures:

Mike
I guess that's probably the best way to handle it.
I'll PM his phone number to you and anyone else interested in contacting him directly.

Matt, My opinion on the Samba. Those guys are bigger tightasses than the P/Y crowd.

I am planning on posting this on The Samba but I haven't gotten to it yet. I know PY pretty well so posting here was easy.
