I love those headlights, they would look great on my "Sly" GXP. Where did you find them?

Default New interior

Although I read the new posts daily, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I am replacing my worn original turquoise interior on my 65 GTO convertible with Legendary product. Seats are with the upholstery guy, and I just finished installing the door panels and carpet. Also having my original dash pad restored by Just Dashes, and painted to match the new interior which should be done in May. Seat belts were restored by SafetyRestore.

Stated the GTO for the fist time this year 2 weeks ago.
Took the race car to the local track for NHRA cert. yesterday.
Waiting on a Qjet to rebuild for the race car, then hopefully call it good and put the engine back in the car.

I was ordering some parts for a customer from "The Crate Engine Depot" and after talking Pontiac's it came up that I had a Solstice, and they told me they had a Pair of NOS Black Headlights they had bought for a Customer several years before and the sale fell through. They offered them to me for $250 for the pair if I picked them up with the other parts. I had them in my hands about 45 minutes later.

Dumb luck, or right place at the right time. Those were only used on the GXP Coupes & 2009 Street Edition Convertibles. Sorry to say they have been out of stock from GM for many years.

Does searching for parts on ebay and craigslist count? I seem to do that a lot.

I began digging into a replacement diff I bought in hopes of fixing it. I also watched some videos on installing headliners.

Looks good! This was my project last Spring. I'm really happy with the Legendary stuff.

As for me - no big projects yet except driving it! Tuned it up, fixed a vacuum leak under the dash that's been nagging me, polished it up, and have been cruising around town. The kid at the burger place yesterday said it looked like a Hot Wheels

It's from a commercial. I'll have to admit, I've thought the same thing when I've seen your name. The phrase kind of sticks with you because they used to run it a LOT.

Changed the converter, changed the gear and added the Detroit locker and added the Holley super sniper EFI 8 injectors.

TV commercial with Denny Hamlin in his race car and race suit. Little girl told him "nice PJs". He didn't get it either. Sorry.

Charged the battery on the '72 Grand Prix. It's time to sell it.

Default 67 convertible

I don't know who all knows it yet,but I recently bought a 67 convertible that is a real basket car! Recently installed new trunk panels. Working on rocker panels now! Got lots to do, I'll be busy for awhile!

Every one is more ambitious than I am, I also worked on the V8 Solstice a little bit. I always thought the grills should be recessed to really give it a Pontiac look.

So I did it on the Mallet, Norms Fiberglass grill tunnels, very good quality only needing a little fit and finish work, painting and modifing the original grills to fit.

I drove it. Does that count?

I also looked at my 1 year old and yet leaky power steering gearbox. I squinted at it, and gave it a talking to using strong language. It however, persists in its dripping.
