The console is a 67-68 full size based on the rear plate on it. The console is used from 65-68 with the rear piece only being the difference. 65-66 and 67-68 had different rear plate on them. Shifter almost looks like a 65-68, but has an odd angle to it. I could use the console and shifter linkages on it depending on what you are doing with it.

It's pretty crusty. Still has the clear plastic seat covers, though.

I remember reading in Wangers book about the S/S 59 Royal Pontiac. They hated the 3 speed column shifter so much that they went to 4.88's and started in 2nd so the wouldn't have to make that lazy shift from 1st to 2nd ! Pontiac unlike Chevy for 59 didn't have a floor shifter so it was illegal to have a floor shifter, quite unlike todays rules in stock classes.

I think that is a 64. The steering wheel is different than a 63, as well as the center dash gauges are angled and in different relative positions than a 63

As a side note, I though it was a standard part of the Grand Prix to have buckets, console and floor shift?

Back then, all the manufacturers were like Burger King.

I used to own a 1965 GP that had a bench seat and column shifter. Buckets and a console were standard but you could get them that way, I don't know if it was a no cost option or a deduct.
