So Hirsch responded by saying, basically, their color is correct and that's that. He said the color that I showed him in my OP as the correct was too blue and looked more like an Olds blue, not pontiac. OK, whatever. That's about what I expected.

I'm glad I decided to repaint it. Had to be done really. So far, the plan for the stealth look seems to be going OK.
