Default Anybody here get "Old Cars Weekly"?

A member on another forum said that my GTO has an article in this week's edition.

I haven't seen it and can't seem to find it on newsstands here locally.

Any recommendations on where to pick a couple up? I tried our local bookstore/cruise spot - Pasteiner's - but Steve Jr said they don't carry it any more.

Thanks in advance -

K

They wrote an article on your car, and printed a photo spread, and they didn't tell you about it first? That's pretty funny.

I think the pro photographers asking to borrow his car should have been a clue.

Keith, congrats, amazing car that deserves.

Yup.

We did an article back in October of 2016 for Muscle Car Review.

I knew about that one but the I didn't know about the msn version. The writer or photographer (apparently) has the freedom to shop it around to maximize the earnings from his work. It's just that typically the delay between publications isn't this long.

I had the same thing happen with my Chevelle. The feature was done for Popular Hot Rodding but the same text and photos from the same shoot appeared in Super Chevy magazine and "Chevelle - Chevy's Mid Size Muscle" mag - which I didn't even know existed (and is an awfully clunky title).

It's interesting to see the little bit different spin each of the publications puts on the same raw material.

I just re-read the article. Very interesting and such a great car story. You are in an elite class to still have an original car of such stature. In my opinion that car is more valuable than any re-bodied Dusenburg.
email me your address and I will get it sent off to you.
