Ebay; 62 Grand Prix "Pro Stock"
(not mine)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-Pontia...RZ9KnA&vxp=mtr Is this Rick Johnson's old car? I looked to see if it was Harry Reinholdt's, but I believe his was a Catalina (not trimmed out as a Grand Prix). Not a lot of detail in the ad - K

That car as well as "Big Wampum" (another '62 Cat) have been for sale for a loooong time. Both are crazy money. If I recall, they are both in the mid 60's range.

Looks like an '80's style build....not a '60's-era racer.

Absolutely. These were the types of cars running the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) or National Street Car Association (NSCA) "Pro Nostalgia" class in the 1990s. Cars were typically going high 8's or low 9's, naturally aspirated.

That is Harry's old car. His was always a Grand Prix. Rick's car is a Catalina. Rick was deeply involved in that build back in the day.

Noticed on Ricks car ,doors were either fibreglass or maybe carbon fibre. He had a sticker about stick cars on side window.

That means this particular car has dipped into the 8's (maybe not with this setup). K
