My car came with two interior wiring harness's. 1967 GTO Auto with Air

I can not find a difference.

Also, I can not find any type of date code.


Can someone help me figure out the year or guide me on what to look for.

I am having trouble uploading the photo's.

Was your car originally an A/c car? If so you have a "with air" harness

The "air" harness is a plug in to the main harness and is identifiable by brown wire with red plug.
An easy way to figure out your harness is to lay it on the table as if it were on the firewall, and see where rthe wires route to. The blower harness will be towards the right. Other wires in that direction will be door jamb switch- white, and glovebox switch- orange.

Is that harness from a convertible? I see the heavy purple and grey wires (at least I think I see that) that run to the convertible top motor.

I have a brand new 67 auto with A/C harness out in my shop.I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow if that will help. I think the fuse block shown in your last photos may be correct but it looks really corroded.

OK, You talked me into it so I went out to the shop and got my new harness. as far as the A/C part, it doesn't affect the dash harness as the A/C harnesses are separate and plug into the dash harness.
So, here are some pics of my 67 Dash harness for the console shift, auto trans and gauges.

I may be wrong but I think the convertible top wiring is separate from the dash harness. The heavy purple and gray wires are added to the outside of the ribbon harness and the power comes from a wire included with the convertible top switch. At least that is the way it was with my 67 vert.

Fyrfftytr1 I agree with you about the convertible top wires, but I don't know what else those 2 wires could before.

Stone7777 I checked my harness collection and found I have a nice one for 67 with the add on a/c harness if the ones you have don't work

Not enough circuits pretty sure mine has 11 or 12 fuses with a couple of acc plug ins have to look.You can make anything work just wont have enough to protect all the circuit's properly.
