Default #16 heads on a 326

Will #16 heads fit on a 326. Motor redone and head got knicked in CNC when doing some bowl work. What's the best head for this motor.???

If they are the 1970 small valve heads with press in studs then you have a chance. If they are the screw in stud, big valve heads used on the 400's they will not work because the bore is too small to use the large valve heads on. if they are the number 16's that have the round exhaust ports, send them to me as fast as you can, I'll pay shipping. :-}

The best head is the #141, 326 H.O. heads. They were high compression 10.52:1 from the factory.
