Default Sick Week

Anybody planning on racing or attending this years event? I will be at Gainesville Raceway for the Wednesday edition if I can get off work in time. How long into the day do they typically run? I know it depends on the # of cars but I think this year has at least as many if not more than last year. Weather this week has been killer for setting records, but I haven't seen any stats yet.

Just saw Scott's post about the broken rocker. Very sorry to hear that. Hopefully no further damage.

I wonder whats even left in Ruskin. When I was a kid it was like the Tomato capitol of the United States, but I've heard all the Fields are gone. Maybe that show is in a fallow field lol.

I went to highschool in Gibsonton a town over.

Sick Week has caught on big, seems like its near as big as OG Drag Week

Was at Sick Week Bradenton yesterday. Was great to see Richard Guido GTO and Nick Weigland Trans Am. These guys are a couple of the current greats in Pontiac performance in my opinion and are good people.

I was at Gainesville Raceway for day 3 but only had 2 hours to spend. Didn't see Guido or Weigand. Sure wanted to see them make a pass. Tons of cars and really enjoyed the atmosphere of 'run what you brung' racing. Reminded me of drag racing back in the 60s. Need more of that instead of the packaged events that we see most of these days.
