Isn't the whole idea of using a small Voodoo cam, in a low CR engine, that it increases cyl pressure, thus increasing power, while still being very streetable.

So, does anybody really think a 2800 or 066 clone would be better, in this app ?

I mean, most cam recommendations on this site tend towards increasing performance, rather than just providing the smoothest idle, most vac, most very low rpm torque possible, & best gas mileage.

So, other than a cheaper price, what advantages would the other small cams have over the small Voodoo, if any ?

Attached are dyno tests for a 8.8 compression 350 SBC, small valve heads 1.94 intake valve - 200 CFM port. Performer intake.

If a guy was going to run a 3000 stall converter the 265 DE Comp is stronger everywhere! Up an amazing 100 horsepower at 5500 RPM over the 255. The 265 still has 16 inches of vacuum.

Keep in mind the Pontiac 350 has 3.75 stroke.

Awesome! I haven't seen results of builds with that cam, but hopefully should be a winner in a 350 build. I run voodoo cams in both my engines and love them.

Keep us posted on progress!
