Default hood to fender bumper

Hey guys, had this in the 66-67 section...........found a few that look like mine on the restoration specialties site.........couldn"t find one for a 66 Gto, but the one they had pictured looked like one for a 70 Gto.

Wanted to make sure I'm getting the right one, or at least close.

I'm sending the pics I have on my car now, and the new one I got from Ames......not right.

If possible could you post one from a 68-70 gto.

Thanks

Rich

how do you know the ones you currently have are correct? I just went through every bumper on the Ames site from 67 to 70 and none of them look like what you have.

Not sure mine are right or not......but jeff hamlin posted some nos ones on his car,, they look like mine.

Im not into having orginal parts, but the one i got from ames looks nothing like what i have, looking at some aftermarket stuff, seems like 68-70 stuff looks somewhat the same. Probubly not LOL.

Im just gonna use what i have.

been a long time but as I recall, I ended up cutting mine (aftermarket) to fit. I think it was the only easy way to help get gaps right and allow easy hood close. good luck.
