If I had the extra money I'd be on a road trip this morning. I have a couple of extra 400s laying around that need a home and not enough projects here. Be a fun old school rod if someone should decide to go that route.

That would make one sweet street rod.

It would make a sweet gasser!

huhhhuuhhu, he said sweet gasser, uhhuhuhuhuh.
In my best Butthead imitation. Seriously though, could be a sweet old ride. |

Looks to be a '40 Chevy Master Deluxe. Not at all difficult to find parts for, and totally do-able. Saw a '40 Plymouth coupe at Eagle Field last year that was done up as a '60's gasser with tuck and roll gold metalflake upholstery, vintage decals, etc. Looked like a model kit I put together in the mid '60's. Way cool stuff. Praying for you, Steve. (I'd post a photo of it, but the format here has been changed and I can't)

Steve, problem solved..... send the wife to get it.
No doubt at all it would make a sweet street rod. A Pontiac 400 in it would make it even sweeter.

It's a cool car, but I enjoy looking at the surrounding scenery just as much. Nothing like the mid western plains in the late autumn.
That picture would make a good wallpaper. |
