Just heard he had a heart attack and didn't make it. Another great one gone.

Wondering about his health habits. Although doesn't matter now.
Nearly every picture of Glen Frey, he was smoking. Think he made it to 67, although was very ill. Hope Tom didn't suffer!!!

I'm surprised that he was "only" 66. When I started listening to him 25 years ago, I considered him an "old man."

I've read conflicting reports on his condition. If CBS is the latest then it's more than likely true.
RIP Tom. You did good and will be missed by many. I was fan from the start.

Wow, looks like CBS butchered the news (what's new). Latest is he is still alive but situation is dire. Fight the good fight Tom!

Bought Damn the Torpedos at the age of 12 in 1979 and have been a huge fan ever since. This news hit me like a ton of bricks. Second time today....

reports do have a common thread; DNR, no brainal activity , off life support, but still going.
I think he's in the middle of a solo. |

A Mark Twain reference comes to mind....
“The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.”

He was one of my favorite rock artists. I wish I had seen him in concert. A real master of the 3 minute song. Lots and lots of great ones. RIP
