Default Centrifugal Supercharger Cooling

Are these types of Supercharges fed engine oil to keep them cool?

No. They are self contained.

Wreckmastr, That is not true for the Vortech stuff which He has ordered.

That is true on the Procharger stuff which you have.

Here are a few pictures of the Vortech Oil Cooling and Drain system.

First Picture clearly shows the oil feed line. There is also a oil drain line to the pan

Second Picture shows the Oil squirter that sprays oil on the gears to keep them cooler and reduce wear.

Third Picture shows the position of the oil squirter in the Supercharger.

(The brass fitting at 6:00 in the Picture is the oil drain fitting.)

So the supercharger you ordered IS OIL COOLED, does remove heat from the unit, and requires a oil feed system and a oil drain added to the oil pan. That drain can be either at the bottom of the timing cover or in the pan near the top rail gasket surface.

My apologies. I should have said Procharger since that's the only brand I have dealt with.
