Default Help! Oil filter won't fit w/RARE exhausts...

Just bolted my RARE exhausts onto my 455, and the NAPA Gold 1258 is too large, it won't come back off without taking off the manifold - anybody else have this problem, what oil filter are you using - thanks!

To the best of my knowledge. There are at least 2 types of sending units, you may need the other one. On one, the filter mounts straight up and down. The other one angles the filter towards the pan.

Use NAPA No. 1522
It's the slim filter that will solve your problem.

Thanks Larry - I'm headed to NAPA to pick one up...
