Looking really nice! I’d like to do a ‘35 Pontiac coupe. Post up more pics, if they come out upside down or sideways, I’ll turn them for you....

Here are a few detail pics, fabricated steering column drop and 3-piece fan shroud, power brake booster mounted inside the firewall, and the interior with 1955 DeSoto gauges in the original dash, homemade "accessory" panels under the dash, '61 Pontiac ignition switch, 1955 Cadillac brake pedal, and 1959 Pontiac gas pedal.

Thanks for your comments and for the help with the pictures! Hope you find your '35 coupe, they have a really cool art-deco style.

Engine sounded good in first video. Steady progress, year after year. I know very little about cars from this era and these custom builds. But I know what good craftsmanship looks like! That's going to be one special car when it's done.

I found some '64 Cadillac dash AC vents at Spring Carlisle last year and my brother and I made the housings to place them in the car.

I fabricated a housing for the wiper switch. the "wiper" bezel is from a '60s Bronco and the chrome arm is from a mid-'60s Pontiac convertible top switch.
Sorry, pics are sideways again. |

New stainless gas tank arrived, but we had to do a few modifications to make it fit, including relocating the hole in the gas tank cover for the filler stub.
More twisted pics!!!! |

Speaking of spotts I was looking through some old racing stats form the 69 or 70 season and saw Jim spotts. Is he related ? Paul helped me out w some info and questions I had on a build I just did and I really appreciate it . Seemed like a really good guy, this was before I bought some parts from him. No pressure to buy anything just happily helped me out w info.

Idk if you’re going to paint that it looks great either way. But if you wanted to you could wrap that car w vinyl. I used a blue Diamond from Avery on my airplane and it came out amazing! It’s like a bass boat or an old bumper car w crazy metal flake. .
https://youtu.be/rrn6PWyh5Kw?feature=shared You’d never know it wasn’t paint. They have it in white, blue, red , silver you only see the Diamond sparkle in the sun.
