Smile Good Holley Carb Book

I know that someone here listed a good book to buy for working on Holley carbs but I'll damned if I can find the thread..getting old I guess. If someone could re-post the name of the book that would be a great help to me. Thanks. Tom

I have book titled "Holley Carburetors, Manifolds, and Fuel Injection" How to select, tune, repair, and modify Holley fuel system components for street and racing use.

It is an "HP Books" 4th edition.

Seems like a good book, I've read thru some of it. Got it free a few years ago.

I used to work for Mike Urich, his original books are some of the best for basic knowledge on how a Holley carb works and why.

The Dave Emanuel book is also a good book.

The best books I have found for advanced tuning of Holleys are the Alex Walordy Supertuning Books. One is "Super tuning Holley Carburetors" It even has a Holley part number at the bottom 36-155

Thanks everyone for the help refreshing my memory. We were having a lot of trouble with carb. issues at Norwalk, so much that Amy only made one pass all weekend, she usely does all of the driving at Norwalk. I was able to make a couple of small adjustments to at least be able to keep it running at idle so I could try to compete. I even swapped Amy's carb. with mine to see if it would be any better, it was not it was worse. With Tom Vaughts help I was able to get Amy's Dominator (my first one) to work very well on her 463. But my Dominator is a 8896,3-circuit and Amy's is a 9375,2-circuit so I need to learn more about the 3rd circuit. I am having trouble getting it to idle in gear well and it pops when driving between 1,800 and 3,000 rpm, it is fine at wide open throttle. I stage at 2,000rpm it is fine. It pops like I am hitting the rev-limiter when doing my burnout at 3,500rpm. Again thanks for the help. I will try to order the recommended books tomorrow after work, it's been a long last 2 weeks. Good night......
