Default 1964 Chevelle 4-speed, 373 Posi

1964 Chevelle Malibu - Red with white interior.
1963 December build date.
Car has a Factory four speed, with Hurst shifter. New drive shaft, 10 ½ clutch and pressure plate. with 373 Positraction.

Engine is 1975 Corvette 350 with 194/160 heads 58cc. with flat top pistons 9.5 compression. Heads are ported and polished. Cam is Melling hydraulic 450 lift. Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm Edelbrock carb (1405). Engine is freshly rebuilt – both block and heads. Distributer is GM HEI.

Car has Headers with glass pack mufflers and 2” duals. Sounds AWESOME.

Chassis: stock with new springs, tie rod ends – inner and outer and drag link.

4-wheel drum brakes – finned (front and rear all rebuilt).
Power Steering, power brakes. New wiring harness. Electric cooling fan. Under dash Frigking air unit available. Full gauge set including column mounted tach.

Body: stock with manual locks, roll up windows, white interior, with white bucket seats. New door panels and seats. Replacement red headliner and custom rear seat.

Wheels: after market classic aluminum wheels and new tires plus stock 14” WSWT.

Car is in Albuquerque NM - Rust Free Desert car!

I wouldn't mind seeing some pix. Odd it's not an SS with buckets and four speed checked off...unless those were mods. I had a true '64 SS with 283 2bbl...three on the tree and dual exhausts...cloth bench seat interior...equally odd...but the car wasn't that old when I owned it and I'm relatively certain it wasn't modified. Red/red...with 2" duals and glass packs...and yes, it DID cackle!!! Anyway...still somewhat interested in yours. Thanks. Ron
