Default Help ID: 1969 Firebird Emergency Brake 1967 1968 e brake assembly

I had purchased what was to be a 1969 Firebird e brake assembly for my 1969 Firebird from a board member, but it sure doesn't seem to fit and when compared to a stock 1969 assembly (from my friend's all original 1969 Firebird), it sure appears different.

Can someone tell me if the e-brake I got is perhaps a 1967 or 1968 (other other car's) e-brake by the photos I posted?

The one I was sold has the warning light switch at a wrong angle, and the release handle is angled/located all wrong.... and the assembly is not able to bolt to the dash since it would hit the dash bezel.

And here are photos of the known original 1969 Firebird emergency brake assembly so you can see how different the one I was sold is

Thank you!

1968 is the same as 1967 correct?

If any one is wanting to buy this, let me know.

Sir,
I just put my 69 Firebird on a diet.. LOL

Anyway, I just removed the original e-brake assembly and have no use for it.
If you're at all interested, I can take a few pics and post them here so you can be sure it's correct.

$35.00 plus shipping.

Thanks Joe!

Here for all is what a correct OEM 1969 Firebird e-bake assembly looks like. Notice the pull handle is lower and way different than 1967/1968 ones that most people pass off and say works for 1969. It does not.
