No I did not check the fuel pressure. I don't own a tool to check it. I guess I will be buying that too, lol..
I was looking under the van by the gas tank and I noticed two lines going to the tank one with a blue clip, the other with a green clip. Both are seperately connected to a white nipple. I noticed one nipple has nothing on it. Is there supposed to be a line going to it or is it right the way it is? I took the timing cover off and the belt is in great shape, nice and tight. I did see the timing markers (I believe) one small notch on each of the two sprockets. They did not line up, not sure how they are supposed to be positioned. I am tempted to drop the gas tank and clean it out. I was told there is a sock filter in there and when it gets clogged it can give the van trouble, any truth to this? I am also tempted to take out the fuel filter and make sure it was installed properly. What can be done wrong here with the install to make the van begin to stall? Put on backwards? When I got the tune up done it started stalling that night. It never stalled before that, ever.. The place swears it was not them, ofcourse.. I would bet it is the timing belt out of line as mentioned. The van almost never starts on the first try, rough idling and stalling. I also changed the gas cap and the oil filler cap as I noticed it was burned some how pretty bad inside, no difference..
