The Blue car was owned by a Pontiac guy in Chicago area and he started a restoration on the car. He posted the history, restoration pictures and VIN number. As I was reviewing this I went, “Wow that looks really close to my other cars VIN number”. When I checked it out I couldn’t believe it was the next car on the line.

So yes, basically I stumbled across the Blue car with no intensions of getting another GTO.
Cool thanks for elaborating. That is pretty wild.

I alluded to it before, but I used to own the blue 66. Bought it out of Riverside, CA and had it shipped to Terre Haute, IN, which is where I was living at the time. I moved several times with that car before deciding I wanted a different year Pontiac.
