1966- California GTO's with consecutive production numbers.
I have two 1966 California GTO’s with consecutive production numbers for sale. They have not been on the road in over 25 years and they are rust free and complete. Restoration on both cars have been started but not completed. I have the correct engines complete with all A.I.R. systems. I am selling these two cars a pair.
There are too many items and history to list. I have attached PHS and invoice. If you are interested please PM me, thanks.

Sounds nice, but,IMHO,it would be beneficial to print up the Dealer Order Form(w/yellow highlights,to decode the options) from PHS. I know the paint codes for Burgandy and Barrier Blue(3x2),Black interior, but it would simplify things for a propective buyer on the rest. Larry B.

650 & 651 production numbers.
I've had a lot of questions and great conversations about these cars.
I have pictures to send to an e-mail address and I would consider trades, possibly selling separate, reasonable offers. Thanks,

You've probably been asked this a thousand times - but - how did you come to own two cars with consecutive VINs? Had they been kept together all this time?
Thanks, K

Ran together on the paint line.
The Barrier Blue car # 650 was painted in front of the Burgundy car #651. The Burgundy car has not been on the road since 1978 and had all the original underbody paint as well as exterior paint. We cleaned the underbody by hand to keep the original sheet metal condition, as we were wiping this down, under the road dirt and undercoating we found a spot where the plant purged the spray guns from the Barrier Blue car to change colors. After they completed they then started painting the Burgundy color.

How did you come to own both? The odds must be staggering.

Odds
Pretty cool, huh !
I've been playing the lottery ever since I found these two, but ....... I'm stilling working every week ! My plans were to do concourse restorations on both and display together. I Thought it would be pretty cool for a Pontiac Motor Division display.

I think people were interested to know how you were able to acquire consecutively built cars. We understand that after one car is built there is another one following shortly behind it. That's not very interesting. The interesting part would be how 45 years later someone would come to own both.. Maybe you wish to keep that your secret or maybe it was just random.

GTO
No secret, I bought the Burgundy car from a guy in Boston, NY that wanted to restore it, and he acquired it from a locate friend that pasted away. He was selling a few cars to buy a 69 Berger Camaro he had wanted for years.
The Blue car was owned by a Pontiac guy in Chicago area and he started a restoration on the car. He posted the history, restoration pictures and VIN number. As I was reviewing this I went, “Wow that looks really close to my other cars VIN number”. When I checked it out I couldn’t believe it was the next car on the line. So yes, basically I stumbled across the Blue car with no intensions of getting another GTO.

I would have a really hard time separating brother and sister. If I had the money I would be there yesterday and I would sell my 67. If you dont sell them you should fully restore them both and sell them as brother and sister at Barrett Jackson and hit it huge.
