63 Catalina carpet
I'm changing my car from bench seat to buckets and a console. I have new carpet that's for a console car and was wondering if the yellow plastic piece of the console goes under the carpet and the main console goes on top of the carpet. Assembly instructions anyone? Thanks Bob

Bob, only the chrome and PAINTED plastic is seen...the unpainted yellow support stuff is UNDER the carpet.

As indicated by Matt, the attached picture shows carpet going over the yellow plastic (from a Junkyard car) and console installed in a 63 catalina. Hope this helps.
