Default WTB Cruiser/Drver LeMans/GTO

Howdy all. It's time for me to get back into a muscle car. I'm looking for a decent toy to drive to the cruises with my kids, tinker and putter with, and just enjoy.

I have 2 requirements: NO RUST, Must be a stick.

I'm open to: Clones, GTO, LeMans (68-70), Firebirds (1st gen)

Prefer: non-AC, doesn't need to be numbers matching and doesn't need to be perfect. Prefer 400cid or greater. Also open to other makes like any Mustang fastback to 1970, other GM's (although I'm not a huge chevy fan), any non-rusted Mopar A or E body I can afford (340 or greater).

Again, must be a stick and no rust. Imperfections ok, I just don't have the time or money for body work.

THANKS!

Default GTO clone sale?

Hey Larry,
Thanks for the reply! Sure, I'd consider a car all ready for a 4spd swap. Does that include the tranny I hope? which one?

How much for the car? What are the details? Pics? etc etc.

TIA,

There is a new Floor pan hump to be welded on , a bellhousing, clutch and brake pedals from a 64-65 Malibu, Z bar, Clutch Fork, old Hurst shifter with rods, a 1964 M20 Muncie.. would still need a flywheel and clutch set..

I have this '72 LeMans I will be selling. Real clean Wyoming body and chassis. Non AC car and currently setup for a stick. Floor shift column, clutch pedals, etc. When I got the car there was no hood, no engine, no transmission, and no bucket seats. I plan to get it running with a 455 -4spd this winter and then sell in the spring. I would sell as is with or without parts I have collected for it. I just got a hood last week so I was going to have my body guy paint match the hood and fix a few dings in the fender heels. Still need to find blue buckets or recover some cores I have. I have a set of Rally II wheels to go on it also. Email direct for more pics and info. john@minnesota-muscle.com

Thanks John

How do I edit my original post? I want to open my search to 65-72 GTO/Lemans.

Musts: No Rust, Stick, 400cid or greater
Prefer: No AC

C'mon fellas, get me back in a Poncho! Don't let some other make/model come along with a better deal and steal me away. I've missed this site over the last couple of years.

Default 65 Post Tempest 4 speed

Hi Adam,
I have a 65 Tempest Post car with a 4 speed. I live in NJ near exit 4 off 287 -not far from Outterbridge crossing. The car has a straight 6 in it, but it would make an awesome sleeper with a 400 or 455 under the hood. I'm close to SINY if you're interested. It's currently listed under the cars for sale in PY forum. Bench seat /4 speed with seatbelts - fun for the whole family. It needs a new home. I have it listed for $12,500.

Bump. I'm still searching for my next toy. I have one candidate to see next weekend, but am open to others as well. Who's got that diamond in the rough hiding in the back of the garage, neglected, that needs a good home for the holidays?

I have a friend who passed away last week who will have more then a few cars for sale in a while. He has/had a 69 Lemans 2 door auto 350 with low miles. It runs great & the body is very good to. Keep in touch & I'll let everyone know on this site when his cars become for sale.
