Default What is this part?

I have a 69 bird that is being restored. I am taking out the wiring harness to replace and came across this under the dash. No wires were hooked to it and it was screwed to the clutch/brake pedal assembly. the clutch or brake did not contact it. The lever on the left is spring loaded. When you put an ohm meter across the 2 pins the switch is open and closes when you push against the spring.

The car has a V8 with a manual when I got it. Not sure if original to the car as I have found many 67 firebird parts installed.

Thanks in advance

Hmmm, Is that the same as a nuetral safety switch? I have a 1/2 round ring looking thing as well that wires are going to.

Default half round thing...

Is the sensor for the reverse lights. Has to be hooked up with the backdrive linkage to work.
