Default Mystery blue wire

In an attempt to fix my clock, I discovered this wire that’s been cut off. It’s blue and seems to terminate into the heater core area anyone have any idea what this is for? Or more specifically where should it terminate to?

What year and car?
(possibly 72 A body?)

Could be for dimmer switch or for a courtesy light possibly?

Rear speaker wire? They were blue, and ran down and under the carpet on passenger side.

Rear speaker
100%
Should go behind the fire wall pad
And come out by the carpet top edge
