My uncle who is an old hotrodder from way back says he runs castor oil in his fuel, like 4-8 ounces per tank, and claims it seals the cylinders since it does not burn.
anybody else heard this before?
also he stated that it gave off a distinctive odor such that on runs people didn't like to ride behind him.

just curious if anybody else has heard of this before.

Yes, it burns, and gums up the rings.
