Default Commemorating Pontiacs biggest win in drag racing all this week!

All this week, I am featuring M/T HEMI Pontiac related pics and info to commemorate the anniversary of Pontiac's biggest win in Drag racing- overall Top Eliminator at the US Nationals in 1962! This was the car that did it! YES! It is Pontiac powered! Not a clay mock up, not an experimental that never happened but, a real, developed Pontiac racing engine that took on everyone at Indy and beat them all! It really happened and this important history must be remembered. Pontiac Heaven is the home of the M/T HEMI Pontiac!
You are not likely to read about this important part of Pontiac engine development and racing history in the magazines as they are more focused on featuring ls swaps, etc.
So, I am doing it here for the benefit of the hobby. Most people are very ignorant of the HEMI Pontiac because there is little info out there. You can learn plenty at Pontiac Heaven- the home of the M/T HEMI Pontiac. Here is the link if interested, thank you
