Default 70 GTO Shifter rods - Color

I have a 70 GTO 4 SPD Car I am restoring I just got the shifter rods back from the blaster and I painted them gold I think this is correct from what I have seen?

There are rectangular tabs - what color are these?

there is a reverse lock out rod hanging on the column in the engine compartment
what color is this thanks

I believe the shifter plate that bolts to the trans is gold too?

These components were plated, not painted from the factory. I believe it is a gold dichromate, but am not positive. The rectangular tabs are also plated, gray phosphate, I believe. Plating I'm sure of. The exact process, not so sure. Maybe some restoration experts can chime in. Its been a long time since I've done one.
