Default Bolt for Rear Flex hose

Does anyone have an example of the bolt that holds the rear flex hose onto the rear end? This is for my 70 GTO with the 12 bolt axle. I have the mounting bracket but I can't find the bolt. I got what was supposed to be the right one from Inline Tube but it does not fit through the hose. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ck'ed original hardware drawers and two original Pontiac usage 12 bolts.
Both of the original bolts, remove with 1/2" socket. the head is .215 thick. no recess in the head, no washer type lip like original rear cover bolts. TR marking with 3 "rays" (grade 5). threads are 1" long. can't let these go, but am,again today, moving core rear ends and might come across one.

Just moved a couple '68 and '69 Pontiac Pontiac 10 bolts and both had the same dimension of hose attaching bolt, just had different head markings.

I have the shoulder type bolt (INL11400) from inline tube that is supposed to work with their hose. It does not fit through the hole. They show a fully threaded bolt (INL10442) but i have no confidence it would work either. They are on page 17 of the inline tube pontiac catalog. At this point i'm wondering if the hose for a 12 bolt is different.

The original bolt did not have a shoulder (earlier what I called a lip) under them. Once the rear ends got to the '75 or '76 era, the taller headed bolt with the shoulder started showing up. I moved a '76 Seville 8.5 10 bolt hsg that Id thrown a posi in during a yard run, its original hose asm had the taller headed bolt.

Am building more modular housing racks, they accept 14 rearend housings in minimal space, and am in the process of moving. The housings I have, I personally pulled out of parts cars or are out of my own keeper cars and am very confident in the originality of the fasteners. Feel free and drop me a PM, can get you a pic to a phone #. If you don't care about head markings, can send you one of the previous mentioned correct length bolts off a '69 hsg.

This is the one I have from a Canadian built Skylark with Chevy 12 bolt.
Has Rockford stamped on the head....grade 5.

1/2" hex head, 0.375 shoulder dia by 0.3125 long..has 5/16-18 threads....shank length overall is 1"

Email direct if this will work.

George, the brake hose and bolt on your Canadian built Skylark is different than the ones used on McKinnon built 12 bolts in US production '70-72 455 Pontiac A body's and GP's.
Have pulled five 12bolts out of Framingham built '70 Skylarks, they used same original rear hoses as from my Arlington, Fremont, Pontiac plant built factory 455 cars.
