Which is a good thing because I probably would have never been able to restore that car to the condition it is in today.......absolutely Gorgeous!
How long ago was that, John?

That was around 2003-2004 time frame when I was in Tulsa. I remember Steve wasn't asking that much for the car.

I really don't remember what happened. I know I had several cars, too many that is, our sales took a slump, and two new babies.

I'd give my left teeth to have it back like it was; but so it is.

Steve....no worries. I don't think my home owners association would have liked for me to bring another car home. And I certainly know my wife would have killed me. I recall you did have a bunch of cars back then. Some of the folks in the Indian Nations POCI club had mentioned your name to me and said you had 68 Firebird, the 68 GTO and a bunch of others.....didn't you have a '73 Grand Am as well? Anyway, I am really glad that GT-37 has been so nicely restored and that it will be residing in Chris' collection.

At one time I have the garage packed and the driveway; it was a nightmare to get anything out.

Congrats on the 'Beast', Boss!
Looks fantastic and a possible round port engine transplant?

Absopaloozalutely!

Need to sort a couple things out first - I'll probably need a helmet & she's running rich/boggs a bit at the line.

She'll be fine, she's been getting some attention lately too. Front/rear springs, upper/lower ball joints, new sway bar & lower control arms, new water pump, clutch fan, fan shroud, windshield & side windshield gaskets.

No idea but it does reflect the light pretty nicely. We stopped off Route 80 in NJ last night around 9:30 to grab a bite to eat & met up with Brian (Guilty here on the board) who was on his way to NYC from Detroit. Pictures aren't great but you can get the effect.

I'm glad it has a great home and I'm glad Chris is so excited about it! I'll never forgive Steve for leaving his skanky sleeping bag in the trunk of that car.
