Here's a 400 4spd convertible, Revere silver with Pewter interior. Original paint/interior. Not sure on the validity of the 1 of 35 claim though.

Here's my WW5 Lucy Blue 455HO 4spd Lemans w/pewter interior. Okay, it's not a WW5 lemans . If you look though, you will see all the options in the GTO only WW5 option package listed separately. It has a few other goodies too.

This one is a time capsule, has all original items still on the car...Shocks, exhaust, batt cables, core support filler panel, etc. I just hooked back up the original unitized ignition and it runs great! I've found an original build sheet under the gas tank and it still has the paper ID stickers on the springs.

I have talked to the original owner who told me he ordered it to fool the insurance companies. He said his first one wasn't fooled, but the second one was! lol

Thanks for stopping by, John.

I knew that I'd gotten that invoice from you, but I'd long forgotten that Lyn owned it and y'all had an article on-line about the car.

Boy, Pat, I just can't get over how "virgin" that WW5 LeMans is. What a find!

As most of y'all know, fewer L75 455 4V cars were produced than HOs, in 1972 A-body cars. 498 L75s vs. 747 HOs.

Here's one in Cardinal Red, with G60 tires and some other nice options no less . . .

My old Sundance HO car. Ordered with all but two of the WW5 options - in dash tach and Formula wheel.

Was looking at a link to a different car, then scoped across this one.

Ww5 4spd Cardinal Red - is currently listed on cars-on-line.com for sale @ 37,500.

http://cars-on-line.com/53973.html

Looked to be painted a Bronze color and wearing 15x8 Ws6 TA wheels.
Rick Hendrick's Ww5, and a couple/few 455ho's listed there also.

" Pontiac GTO WW5. 455 HO with Ram Air, factory 4 speed, factory A/C, Soft-Ray glass, front bucket seats w/console, AM/FM stereo, 15" Rally II wheels, rear window defogger, trunk and under hood lamps, inside passenger courtesy lamps, dual horns, and the WW5 performance package. I have the PHS copy of the factory invoice. There is no rust on this car as it has been in Arizona most of its life. Car needs a paint job and engine compartment cleaned up. Please call with any questions.
Price - $ 37,500 "

i'd post a couple of its pix, but they aren't cooperating right now.

Saw that one the other day, Zep. Not bad.

Here's one that sold, been seeing it cross auction blocks and e-bay etc. for years. Dunno it it keeps going to prof. flippers, or if there's some kinda hidden issue(s). I prefer to believe the former . . .

I first heard about the car when Bruce Petrillo, near Philly, owned it.

PMD Show Car Pool / PMD Company Car / Retail Dealer

Five 9D Memo's on final invoice.

what the heck are jeff and lloyd doing that makes these invoices get so wiped out in the dark ?? lol

Thanks for posting Jeff's LeMans. Thought that I had some docs for that one, but no dice.

Here's Jeff's old thread discussing that car, with ONE much cleaner invoice!

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=545753

Oh, and in my case at least, the dark invoices are caused by severe scanner operator incompetence!

The M22 GT conv. I had was very similiarly equipped to this, except that mine did not have the T-41 nose, but it was highly optioned with Honeycomb wheels. Cardinal red with a black gut/top and gold side sword stripes. Nobody expressed a great deal of interest in it because it lacked the T-41 nose. Sold it 8/09 to buy my '73 GTO M20.

WELL i will be Dammd !!
After all these years - this is the first GTO i have seen papers on that sold through my local hometown Pontiac dealer in Gboro. They sold a lot of performance models through 60's and 70's - just never have found one after the fact.

I didn't remember it ever being Zane-Waters tho ...
Thinking it was King, then King-Zane, then CROWN from mid 70's through RIP Pontiac.
Waters slipped in there somewhere i guess. It all started before my time.

High volume high clout dealership.
They always got at least 1 of every limited production model.
And were VERY supportive of local POCI chapter.

You're welcome, Zep!

Our very own "geogolfx" owned that GTO.

Something along that line is what i kept hoping i'd eventually stumble on back in the 80's and 90's around my areas. NEVER found a single Roundholed A-body of any form.

and of course i wanted it to be under 2,500 bucks when if found

That is a really wild and cool car PB.
72 was a crazy year for A-Body Poncho's.
