Default Hood release diagram

Anyone have a good clear diagram of how the nose goes together, specifically the hood release assembly & the brackets it mounts on for my 71 gto

Thank you.... The diagram helps alot. My hood release has a piece broke off of it & the rod has been bent to different angles. I need to find a new hood release rod..

The small tab where the rod 'clips' is often broken... Mine's been like that for a while...

I had the same problem, and tried to weld it back. I guess I'm not such a good welder, it didn't hold up very well. I had an extra from a 70 GTO, kind of made it work though. I've been looking for a replacement on ebay for a while now.

I know this is an old thread but has anybody come up with a source for that small "U" shaped clip as shown in post #4 of the thread (the one in the picture is broken) ? Thanks.
