Default 1971 CC GT-37 HO M-22 Posi making a comeback

There is some progress...Really just getting started on the body. Only surprise so far is the discovery of a rollbar in this lightweight racer! Floor are original, and body should be off soon to the blaster. Hopefully no surprises there. Frame is going to be powdercoated soon as well. Slow progress thru the years to date.

Pulled engine long ago to be rebuilt and is done.

Pulled off front clip.

Pulled out interior, glass, etc..

Interior gut shot.

Nice car Mike! What wheels are those? Are you going to keep them on the car?

I remember seeing the engine after it came back and it is going to look sweet in this car! Can't wait to see the finished project.

Thanks it is moving along at a slow pace. This is a rare one as Paul says: 1 of 40ish with the M-22. How many left?

BJ, I will go with the dechromed rally II's. Not sure what wheels are on the car now. But my goal is for it to look like the ad with the red/white stripes instead.

The chrome work is done, and engine which is good as well. When its done I would like to get a picture like the ad too. But, not cheap as the ad implies...

Mike:
That will look awesome. You've got a couple of good garages you could use to take that same picture and re-create that ad - which would be really cool to have hanging in your office someday! Very nice car, glad to see it coming back to life.

I don't know about completion dates, but things are moving quickly. Off to the blaster, and powdercoaters could keep things moving at a good pace.
