Scroll and see this guys collection of nice 71 LeMans verts, and a 71 GTO HO HT for grins.
The White HO vert 4 speed was on ebay a few years ago, and the seller couldn't get over 20k!
Paul is a good guy, I have spoken to him on the phone a few times............

That AC bracket is DEFINITELY an HO bracket, otherwise that preheater tube would be crushed in there to fit. You would notice that. Gotta be an HO. Also notice where the oil dipstick mounts, Only HO motors mount them to the intake bracket. Non HO are mounted to the forward bracket. Cool car.

Is this a different carb than a 71 4-speed Judge would have? Just wondering what on the drivetrain would be different than a 4-speed Judge (except the ram air pans).....

Non Ram Air is the difference in the carb number, not D-Port/Round Port 455.

Mike, that white HO vert is stunning - don't remember it on e-bay! With the motor callouts and not Ram Air on the hood - is that factory? Does that mean it was not a Ram Air car?

My understanding is in 71 the 267 carb was rated at 825 cfm single venturi, and was for manual 455 HO A and F bodies only. The 273 carb was the same except for RA equipped A and F bodies. No HO's in full size noted in service manual?

Chris, That White HO vert car was on ebay around 8 or more years ago. I know Dan Jensen knew the seller and he wanted around 40K for car, and I don't think it cracked 25k on ebay. Not sure what the current owner paid, and it was one of those cars I do love.

Not sure about the RA or not. Maybe Paul can get him to post a PHS?

In 1971 the 7041267 carb was used on the manual trans Non-Ram Air "A" body cars as well as the 1971 manual Trans-Ams. Although I have seen one or two original 1971 Trans Ams with the 7041273, this was not the norm and the 7041273 was exclusively intended for use in manual "A" body Ram Air applications. This was the only year that Pontiac used a Non-Ram Air carb in both Ram Air and Non- Ram Air applications. (I know, never say never with Pontiac!)
That white H.O. 4 speed Convert is currently available and I believe his asking price is somewhere near $90k.

There was a 1972 endura 455 HO convertible on ebay a few months ago in Canada and it looked nice. From what I recall, it was listed twice at $35K and didn't bring any bids.

The 1971 non 455 HO convertible factory show car, on ebay now, which is all original paint and interior won't bring $20K. That tells you something about the current market.
