satman,
Did you buy the '71 LeMans Sport convert from Greg Ciuba in Wichita Falls, or his brother?

Default Paging: HWYSTR455

Try getting on CCTOL.COM
Do a search for 70 Pontiacs, it's in Florida at a dealer.
It's also on cars-on-line.com

Don't believe everything the ad description say's, if your really interested in
the car call me and I'll give you the "TRUE" description. I can't find fault in
the dealer, I already informed them through email what the car really is,and
what it really was. They told me they are simply advertising it with the info
they were given by the previous owner.

269-279-7476

B.T.W. The car cranks, it run's like most GTO's only wish they could.
It used to run low 13's@101mph through cast iron intake/Q-jet, iron log
manifolds, 2 1/2" exhaust on G70-14 Firestone Wide Ovals.

67 LeMans, 47K original miles, now my daily driver. Came with a trunk of parts to convert to a GTO (grille, tail panel and lights, hood) but I'm keeping it a stock LeMans.

If you look up to the top of the page you might notice I was answering
a question HWYSTR455 asked me.
I don't own the car anymore, I was telling him where to find it.

HWYSTR455, I think this was the same car I almost bought about 10 years ago, from community just of rt 234 south of Manasass Mall. The was in very good shape then (I am happy to see someone kept it up), I wish I bought it, it was a steal back in 1995, now it would go for ten times as much on EBAY. Ever take it to the Nokesville Burgar King on Saturdays?

GTO71, don't think so, I've owned it since like june of '94, and got it from the 2nd owner, but I have seen 2 others like it in the area, one being a convertible. I bought it from the neighbor of Steve Smith, who owned Steve Smith Pontiac, and he bought it for his daughter to drive to college and back. It had like 68,000 on it when I got it, and was all original. Think I paid 1650.00 for it. Anyway, yes, I go to BK over on 28 every now & then, used to more, but been working on my T/A, keeps me busy! You still have your 71? Not sure if I ever remember seeing it up there, but I was at World of Wheels a few times, pretty sure I saw it up there. Think we may even have spoke once or twice over the years! And if you used to go to cruises in the late 90's (actually then it was at the burger joint across from the hospital), then you've seen my T/A. Shoot me a PM some time, I'll invite you over, show you what I'm doing to the T/A, think you'll like it...

Default Here is another one.

Here is my '70 LeMans that has been in the family since 1976, and has spend all of it's life in the "Sun Belt". Was originally Polar White, but had it painted to Atoll Blue back in 2000. Had the Pontiac 350 rebuilt with .030 over, AGR power steering pump & gearbox, Hotchkis rear suspension control arms, polygraphite bushing for the entire vehicle, larger sway bar upgrade, Pertronix Ignitor I conversion from points, Ignitor I coil, K&N air filter, TH-350 conversion from powerglide off a '79 Firebird with a Hughes 2300 stall converter, converted to bucket seats & a Hurst Dual-Gate shifter from a '68 Goat, reupholstered three years ago, and plenty of chrome to go around. Future plans include hedders, GTO hood, GTO rear valance, redone dash board through Just Dashes off a '72 LeMans, internal voltage regulator, 4-bbl carb, intake, & dual-horn air cleaner, and the GTO exhaust tips for the rear.

Here is my 71. I got it local with 62K original miles 350/350 car. She still has all original sheet metal, floors & bright work. I changed the 350 to a 428, took out the 10 bolt rear and replaced it with a 12 bolt.

Here's my old '72 LeMans GT, originally a 400 2V, TH400 car. Pic was taken back in the early 80's at the long gone Houston International Dragstrip near Dickinson.

When this pic was taken, it had a stock 1971 455HO engine, TH400 and 4.10 12 bolt in it. 8" Snowflakes & P255/60 tires. Ran some low 13's @ 103+- MPH.

Wish I had it now!

I bought the 72 in Sept 1987 for $100. Pretty cool car for a high school student. Sold it in 1989...the 71 T-37 was bought new by my father. That's my brother and I standing in the picture. Picture was taken in 1974. I had a 69 conv from 1994 to 1996, picture was too large to upload.
