If you tell me which plant I can tell you how many built there with 400. That's all.

Though not a GT-37, this is one of the coolest cars I've ever seen (courtesy of the Ultimate GTO Picture site). It's Dan Jensen's '71 455 H.O. T-37. I love the plain Jane look that hides a killer drivetrain. The production numbers on these things has to be really low ...

I'm with you, Vince - Dan's car is awesome!

Something about the post sedan and poverty caps, with a 455HO lurking within.

The one with the 3-speed is T-37 post numbers, I presume. The one for sale is a Lemans hardtop.

Mark, I had never seen any Simmonds numbers on 400 GT-37s. I know a guy who has a 4-speed. It has the 350hp engine, which is contrary to what some claim.

The 3spd '71 455HO car for sale mentioned above is a '71 LeMans hardtop (23537) not a GT-37.

The '70 1/2 GT-37's, esp the 400 4spd & 400 3spd cars are extremely rare. A few years back Rocky Rotella provided info from a Car Sales Bulletin showing the T-37/GT-37 was not even introduced till late May 1970. That gives the '70 1/2's a very short production time frame.

Can def believe the 238 figure on '70 1/2 400 cars. Very few '70 1/2 400 cars & their owners were uncovered while I was working on the GT-37 Survey ('89-95). The purpose of the survey was to uncover production difference info beyween the plants, dispel bad info, & promote the restoration of Pontiac GT-37's. It was not meant as a registry, but more of a fact finding undertaking.

The sheet I have from Fred even breaks down the total colours.

I've seen some color production figures from the GTOAA newsletter from years ago, but that's about it. Do you have the figures for Pepper Green? That's the color of my friend's car.
