HEY, racer boy, very, very, very nice ride . . .

I am really very impressed.

Where do you live in CA?

What size tires are you running on your 15X7s? Are you going to get rid of them when you go to the 14X6s?

I have 14X6 Rally IIs and would like to upgrade to 15X7s.

RedGoat,
I live in NJ, but the car spent its entire life in CA or AZ. Just came to NJ this past summer.

I will have to check the tire sizes for you. I ma going to be getting rid of the 15" wheels when I put the JTs on. If you'd like, I can send you some pictures.

RedGoat,
do you have a matching set of JTs? What's the date? Are you interested in getting rid of them when you go to 15" wheels? I have a set of JTs, but they are two pairs of matching date codes, not a quartet.

Racer boy, my Rally IIs are not original factory. I got a set of 5 from Wheel Vintiques.

I'm running 225/70/14 BFG Radial TAs on all four corners, plus the spare.

I am going to sell wheels/tires/trim rings on eBay as soon as I get a set of 15X7s.

My e-mail address is hgcooper@sbcglobal.net.

Harry

Sorry about the bad exposure. It is rough but it runs. Getting paint and body work with tax money this year. Possibly some interior work also. 455, TH400, 3.42 12 bolt, used to be a 455 4 spd Quezol Gold with light saddle interior. Non AC car with PS and PB, best ET was a 13.5@ 105mph with 2.93 gears and 4200lbs! Love that grunt!

You know,

This post is what prompted me to finally trade the LeMans and get a 70! I think you all should chip in and help pay for a worthy cause.

Seriously, there are some awesome pics. Here's my 70, fresh from paint. #'s matching engine/trans. For some reason, it has a 67 posi in it. Originally, it was a sierra yellow with a black top. Years down the road, if I ever go to do a concourse resto on it, I'll go back to the original color combo.

Yeah, you got me

Seems my car meets the requirements for a few of the pet peeve lists. Honestly though, I was unaware that the correct size was even available until I saw that post.

Thanks for the comments though. It's gonna be pretty kick ass when its done and I plan on having alot of fun with this car!!

Mike
